AMAZON.COM PEPSI DORITOS

The Pepsi Doritos campaign featured an H1 gateway unit that drove to a replay of the previous night’s Alexa Superbowl commercial that featured Doritos. From there the customer could go to the Doritos custom landing page to see a second exclusive Amazon Doritos branded video that featured Alexa.

The campaign revenue was $825K and it ran on 2/6/17. Pepsi offered an Amazon exclusive 4-pack of Doritos for this campaign and Amazon offered a custom Doritos commercial that featured Alexa.

There were 1181 Add to Carts that occurred on the page but Pepsi only sold 350 of the special 4-packs. There was a distinct drop-off which we theorize was due to the price point.

Amazon customers could actually purchase the 4 items separately at a cheaper cost. We drove 10,173 video starts of the original Superbowl spot, and 8,963 video starts of our additional custom spot.
